The Indiana Pacers forced a decisive Game 7 in their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the New York Knicks with a 116-121 victory on Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 25 points, while Tyrese Haliburton added 22 points and 10 assists. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 26 points, while RJ Barrett added 24 points and 10 rebounds.
The Pacers took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Knicks 36-22. Indiana shot 56.3% from the field in the quarter, while holding the Knicks to just 33.3% shooting.
The Knicks made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Pacers were able to hold on for the victory. Indiana hit 10 of 12 free throws in the final minutes to seal the win.
The series now shifts back to New York for Game 7 on Thursday night. The winner of that game will advance to the Eastern Conference finals to face the Miami Heat.
