Switzerland Announce Euro 2024 Squad

Confident Team Heads to Germany

Full Squad and Formation Details Revealed

The Switzerland Euro 2024 squad has been finalized, and the team is brimming with confidence as they prepare to head to Germany this summer. The squad boasts a mix of experienced veterans and exciting young talent, and they will be looking to make a deep run in the tournament.

The Swiss have been drawn into Group A for the tournament, alongside Italy, Turkey, and Wales. They will open their campaign against Italy on June 14 in Rome, before facing Turkey in Baku on June 18 and Wales in Amsterdam on June 22.

Head coach Vladimir Petković has named a provisional 26-man squad for the tournament, which will be cut down to 23 players before the start of the competition. The squad includes several high-profile players, such as goalkeeper Yann Sommer, defender Manuel Akanji, and midfielders Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Switzerland will be looking to build on their success at the 2018 World Cup, where they reached the last 16. They will be hoping to match or even surpass that performance at Euro 2024, and they will certainly be one of the teams to watch in the tournament.
